Denim is part of the Global Funk DNA.
Since 2003 our mission has been to take a new approach to the old classics. And while our concept has developed over the years, denim has stayed an important part of our brand.
Denim has remained popular for centuries. Mom-jeans, denim jackets and dungarees are passed on from mothers to daughters and shopped at second-hand stores all over the world.
A perfect pair of pure denim jeans in indigo blue are still a staple ingredient in any wardrobe. It is truly a wardrobe evergreen.
Strength and durability are just two of the many reasons why denim has stood the test of time. It also ages beautifully. Instead of breaking, the feel and look changes and serves as proof of a lived life.
But denim is far from a perfect material. Made from one of the most impactful raw materials in the industry, cotton, denim can take its toll on the environment. Therefore, it is important that denim product is designed and crafted so that they can be used for years and years and be passed on from generation to generation.
At Global Funk, we want to make better denim products, without compromising on the quality, style and comfort. Therefore, we partner with the Better Cotton Initiative to improve cotton farming globally.
To us that is the most natural way to go for now. In the future, new options and solutions may arise, which we will remain open for.
